So you want to wear a pink wedding dress? This article will help you pull it off.
Instructions
Step 1 DON’T GO ALL THE WAY PINK (If you’re not comfortable).
Many brides who consider wearing pink wedding dresses are concerned that it would be a bit much or considered too trendy for a wedding (not that others’ opinions really matter all that much). If this is you, consider a dress with touches of pink or mixed in with white or ivory. Either way, you’ll still be the bell of the ball:)
Step 2 CHOOSE A SUBTLE SHADE OF PINK.
Your pink wedding dress does not have to be hot pink (unless that is what you want). There are pink wedding dresses available in many light shades of pink.
Step 3 ACCENT YOUR BETROTHED IN PINK.
A tie or vest in the same shade of pink as your dress would work well for your husband-to-be. If his tux is white, you all will make a really dreamy looking pair.
Step 4 CHOOSE COMPLIMENTARY BRIDESMAIDS DRESSES.
Many brides are opting for chocolate bridesmaid dresses or brown bridesmaid dresses. If you like this combination, go for it. If you don’t like the idea of mixing a springish color with a fallish color, let your bridesmaids wear white bridesmaid dresses and carry pink flowers! The options are endless but just should suit your wedding vision.
Step 5 BE THE ONLY ONE WEARING PINK.
This might sound a little over the top but if you really want to make a statement, put everyone else in white wedding dresses or ivory wedding dresses. If you must have a little pink, consider the options in the steps above.
